Is there some way to get the developers of the Highlands subdivision to put a road out to Wylie Drive? it doesn’t make sense to have all the traffic try to enter on Valley.

As a kid living in Helena around 1960, I went to a baseball game in East Helena. There was a semi-pro team called the East Helena Smelterites, that competed with the Helena Wranglers. I believe the Smelterites of the era had a player named Charley Pride, who went on to become a successful country-western singer. Are there photos of the old ballpark? Does it still exist? Has the Charley Pride connection been researched?

Very nicely done David! The city and organizations of East Helena are very lucky to have you and your talents available to us. Great job on the layout and usability of the PPJ Cloud and keeping people up to date – not only on current events, but also on our history. Love the panoramic of East Helena, and seeing past issues of the hard-copy PPJ will be fun too!

Very, very nice slideshow depiction of our EH Cemetery. The Assn. is doing a wonderful job of rejuvenating the resting place.

Thank you for showing these pictures of the cemetery. They show how much work has been done to make it an asset for East Helena. There is a lot of history there.
